So yes! It's publication Day in the UK for' The Wit and Wisdom of Hilda Ffinch: The Bird With All The Answers'!
Hilda is already tootling about in the United States and is currently loitering in mailboxes from Massachusetts to California. Many thanks indeed to those of you who have already grabbed your copy, I do hope you enjoy reading it!
The book is available to order online from Amazon, Waterstones, Barnes and Noble and other good bookstores across Europe, Canada, the United States and Australia (have I already mentioned that three thousand times this week?)
It's probably a little early for a celebratory gin here *glances at World Clock on iPad and momentarily regrets not living in Beijing* but there's a gluten-free eclair in the fridge with what looks suspiciously like a cheeky little trifle chaser next to it so hey, why not?
Bottoms up, folks! Chin chin!
'The Wit and Wisdom of Hilda Ffinch: The Bird With All The Answers' is dedicated to my Mum, Audrey, the only member of my immediate family who is no longer here to be able to read it. I suspect that she’d have been jolly chuffed though, and would probably have stirred her morning tea with a little Union Jack on a stick to celebrate.
